Swedish artist and graphic designer Mona Johansson (1924-2010) spent a lifetime capturing the little things of everyday life; colloquial portrayals of indoor scenes and street views located in her beloved hometown of Gothenburg. This monochrome etching of a spartan spring flower bouquet, showcases Johansson’s eminent talent of rendering naive portraits of working class realism.

Johansson is represented at the Swedish National Gallery and Museum of Modern Art in Stockholm.
