Danish sculptor and silversmith Just Andersen (1884–1943) stands among the key figures of Scandinavian modernism. Renowned for his refined, elemental approach to form, Andersen worked in pewter, brass, bronze, and his own alloy,  Disco-metal — named after his childhood home in Disko Bay, Greenland. This pewter vase, with its asymmetrical silhouette and softly undulating relief, exemplifies Andersen’s instinct for material and proportion — a quiet study in modernist elegance.

Stamped on the underside with maker’s mark and product number 2503. Presented in very good vintage condition.
