Eruptive textures rise across a stoneware surface, finished in a matte glaze of milky-white, beige, and green. Crafted by Swedish ceramicist John Andersson (1900-1969) for Andersson & Johansson, a ceramic workshop founded in 1909 in the clay-rich region of Höganäs, Sweden. This decorative pitcher reflects the studio’s evolution from modest earthenware beginnings to a modernist design vocabulary.

Stamped to the underside with the maker’s mark “A & J.” Presented in very good vintage condition. Additional pieces from the same series are available separately.
