Rooted in a quiet sensibility, the work of Swedish ceramicist Sven Hofverberg (1923-1998) reflects a commitment to the Nordic Pottery tradition of the understated form. Wheel-thrown by the artist in his own studio outside of Landskrona, this vase carries a quiet, grounded presence, its rounded body cut by precise, rhythmic incisions. The soft, earthy glaze lends depth and warmth, highlighting the subtle irregularities of the handmade process.
